Steps

1. 1Cast Ephemerate by paying , blinking Fiend Hunter.
2. 2Fiend Hunter enters the battlefield, triggering itself and Preston.
3. 3Resolve the Fiend Hunter trigger, choosing not to exile a creature.
4. 4Resolve the Preston trigger, creating a token copy of Fiend Hunter that is a 0/1 white Illusion.
5. 5The Fiend Hunter token enters the battlefield, exiling the nontoken Fiend Hunter.
6. 6Activate Ashnod's Altar sacrificing the Fiend Hunter token, adding .
7. 7The token dies, returning the nontoken Fiend Hunter from exile to the battlefield.
8. 8Repeat from step 2.
