How it works
Prerequisites
- Fain does not have summoning sickness.
- You control at least one additional artifact.
- Thornbite Staff attached to Fain.
Steps
- Activate Fain's third ability by tapping it and sacrificing another artifact, creating a 2/1 Inkling creature token.
- Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Inkling, adding .
- When the Inkling dies, Fain and Pitiless Plunderer trigger.
- Resolve the Fain trigger, untapping it.
- Resolve the Pitiless Plunderer trigger, creating a Treasure token.
- Repeat.
