Steps

1. 1Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Bookwurm, adding .
2. 2When Bookwurm dies, Pitiless Plunderer and Verdant Succession trigger.
3. 3Resolve the Pitiless Plunderer trigger, creating a Treasure token.
4. 4Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding .
5. 5Activate Bookwurm by paying , putting Bookwurm from your graveyard into your library third from the top.
6. 6Resolve the Verdant Succession trigger from step 2, searching your library for Bookwurm and putting it onto the battlefield.
7. 7Bookwurm enters the battlefield, causing you to gain three life and draw a card.
8. 8Repeat.
