How it works
Prerequisites

Steps
- Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the persist creature, adding .
- When the persist creature dies, its persist ability and Pitiless Plunderer trigger.
- Resolve the persist creature trigger, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
- Resolve the Pitiless Plunderer ability, creating a Treasure token.
- When the Treasure token enters the battlefield, Builder's Talent's second ability triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on the persist creature.
- Repeat.
