How it works
Prerequisites
- Zul Ashur, Lich Lord does not have summoning sickness.
- Thornbite Staff attached to Zul Ashur.
Steps
- Activate Zul Ashur by tapping it, targeting Shambling Ghast.
- Cast Shambling Ghast from your graveyard by paying .
- Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Shambling Ghast.
- When Shambing Ghast dies, it and Zul Ashur trigger.
- Resolve the Shambling Ghast trigger, creating a Treasure token.
- Resolve the Zul Ashur trigger, untapping it.
- Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability.
- Activate the Treasure token by tapping and sacrificing it, adding .
- Repeat.
