Prerequisites

• You have an additional card in hand.

Steps

1. 1If Sabin is in your graveyard, cast it for its blitz cost by paying and discarding a card. Otherwise, cast Sabin either from your hand or from the command zone by paying plus commander tax, if applicable.
2. 2Skyfire Phoenix triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield.
3. 3Activate Thermopod twice by sacrificing Sabin and Skyfire Phoenix, adding .
4. 4Choose not to return Sabin to the command zone from your graveyard.
5. 5When Sabin dies, if it was cast using its blitz ability, it triggers, causing you to draw a card.
6. 6Repeat.
