Steps

1. 1Activate Bartolomé del Presidio by sacrificing Evernight Shade
2. 2When Evernight Shade dies, its undying ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it.
3. 3Resolve the Bartolomé del Presidio ability.
4. 4Activate Bartolomé del Presidio by sacrificing Evernight Shade
5. 5When Evernight Shade dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
6. 6Evernight Shade enters and dies as a state-based action due to having 0 toughness. Its undying ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it.
7. 7Resolve the Bartolomé del Presidio ability from step 4.
8. 8Repeat from step 4.
