Steps

1. 1Activate Scholar of Athreos by paying , causing each opponent to lose 1 life and you to gain life equal to the life lost this way.
2. 2Crystalline Crawler triggers, putting that many +1/+1 counters on it.
3. 3Activate Crystalline Crawler three times by removing three +1/+1 counters from it, adding .
4. 4Repeat.
