Prerequisites

• You control another untapped nontoken Merfolk.

Steps

1. 1Activate Kumena's first ability by tapping another nontoken Merfolk you control.
2. 2Deeproot Pilgrimage triggers, creating a 1/1 Merfolk creature token.
3. 3Resolve the Kumena ability.
4. 4Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing the Merfolk token.
5. 5When the Merfolk dies, Faces of the Past triggers, untapping all Merfolk.
6. 6Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability.
7. 7Repeat.
