How it works
Prerequisites
- You have seven or more cards in your graveyard.
Steps
- Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Cathodion, adding .
- Cathodion dies, triggering itself and Decaying Soil.
- Resolve the Cathodion trigger, adding .
- Resolve the Decaying Soil trigger, causing you to pay to return Cathodion from your graveyard to your hand.
- Cast Cathodion by paying .
- Repeat.
