Prerequisites

• Shorikai does not have summoning sickness.
• You have a way to cause Shorikai to become a creature this turn.

Steps

1. 1Cause Shorikai to become a creature.
2. 2Activate Thornbite Staff's equip ability by paying , attaching it to Shorikai.
3. 3Activate Shorikai by paying and tapping it, causing you to draw two cards, discard a card, and create a 1/1 Pilot creature token.
4. 4Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Pilot, adding .
5. 5Shorikai triggers, untapping itself.
6. 6Repeat.
