How it works
Prerequisites
- You control at least one nonartifact creature token.
- Your life total is no greater than 12.
Steps
- Cast Death's Shadow by paying .
- When Death's Shadow enters the battlefield, Cloudstone Curio and Life Finds a Way trigger.
- Resolve the Cloudstone Curio trigger, doing nothing.
- Resolve the Life Finds a Way trigger, creating a copy of any nonartifact creature token you control.
- When the creature token enters the battlefield, Cloudstone Curio triggers, returning Death's Shadow to your hand from the battlefield.
- Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing a creature token, adding .
- Repeat.
