How it works
Prerequisites
- Nicol Bolas has at least five loyalty counters on it.
Steps
- Activate Nicol Bolas using Jace's third ability by removing five loyalty counters from it.
- If Nicol Bolas has zero loyalty, it dies as a state-based action.
- Resolve the Nicol Bolas ability, creating two token copies of Nicol Bolas that aren't legendary.
- Activate a Nicol Bolas token by putting zero loyalty counter on it, putting a loyalty counters on the other Nicol Bolas token.
- Repeat from step 1 using the second Nicol Bolas token.
