Prerequisites

• Soul Link attached to Ill-Tempered Loner.
• Ill-Tempered Loner can be transformed.
• You have a way to give Ill-Tempered Loner indestructible.
• You have a way to deal damage to Ill-Tempered Loner.

Steps

1. 1Give Ill-Tempered Loner indestructible, and then deal damage to Ill-Tempered Loner.
2. 2Ill-Tempered Loner and Soul Link's second ability trigger.
3. 3Resolve the Soul Link trigger, causing you to gain that much life.
4. 4Resolve the Ill-Tempered Loner trigger, dealing that much damage to itself.
5. 5Ill-Tempered Loner and Soul Link's first and second abilities trigger.
6. 6Resolve both Soul Link triggers, causing you to gain life equal to twice the damage dealt.
7. 7Repeat from step 4.
