Steps

1. 1Activate Splintering Wind by paying , dealing 1 damage to target creature and creating a 1/1 Splinter creature token.
2. 2Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing the Splinter, adding .
3. 3When the Splinter dies, it and Ashes of the Abhorrent trigger.
4. 4Resolve the Ashes of the Abhorrent trigger, causing you to gain 1 life.
5. 5Resolve the Splinter trigger, dealing 1 damage to you, and putting a +1/+1 counter on each creature you control due to Vigor.
6. 6Repeat.
